First,
the client was smart enough to contact NCLA, Inc to make
it all happen.
For starters, we printed 150,000 beautiful 4 color, 20
Mil cards in multiple versions with a signature panel.
Next, using the supplied data, we thermal imaged a barcode
and confirming number on each card, maintaining exact
order from the file. Finally, we perfectly matched and
affixed the cards to the corresponding bar-coded and numbered
brochures that were supplied to us.
But we weren’t through yet.
Now that the matching of card and brochure was perfect,
NCLA plow-folded the brochure around the affixed card,
still maintaining exact order. The final step was to shrink
wrap the brochures in bundles of 50, label each bundle
with the starting and ending numbers of the cards/brochures
enclosed, and ship them overnight to multiple locations.
The final score: plenty of hits and runs with no errors!
The client—and, more important, their customer—were
ecstatic. Every card and brochure was accounted for. Sequence
was kept throughout. The cards were stunning and precisely
affixed to the brochure.
