Fortunately
for this well-known pharmaceutical company, their regular
direct mail printer had the foresight to make an appointment
with the good "doctors" at NCLA, Inc.
Working together as team, we prescribed a 3 panel, die
cut, self-mailer on 8 pt. coated stock. The printer took
the first step, producing the self-mailer and delivering
it to NCLA one-up, flat, scored and die cut. The 2-3/4"
x 3-3/4" sample packets were also delivered to NCLA
cello-wrapped to protect the nutritional supplement contained
within.
Now it was time for NCLA to take over.
We sorted the sample packets, loaded them in the hopper,
and began affixing them to the inside center panel using
our custom-engineered affixing equipment and hot melt
glue. We then plow folded the die-scored and die-cut brochure
around the packagewith the kind of precision wešre
noted forand sealed the self mailer shut using more
strategically placed hot melt glue. Finally, NCLA packed
the folded and sealed brochures in mail trays for the
direct mail printer to pick up, address and mail.
The end result? In less than 15 days, more than 900,000
new product samples were mailed in an inviting package
to the client's ideal demographic population... for a
fraction of the cost of other means of distribution.
